At the heart of the Royse City ISD Fine Arts Department is the award-winning Royse City Band. With more than 250 students in grades 9-12, Royse City Band is the largest student organization in Royse City ISD.

The band program consists of our marching band, multiple concert band ensembles including the Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic and Concert Band, as well as our Percussion ensemble and our Color Guard and Winter Guard.

Royse City Band performs throughout the year at sporting events, band contests, concerts, school events and throughout the local community including the Royse City Lighted Christmas parade, business openings and dedications.

Since 2019, we have been named a Best Community for Music Education by the National Association for Music Merchants. This is awarded based on a district's financial investment in music education as well as participation and success within its K-12 music offerings.
